Hey, did you ever have a computer with a turbo button? I remember I had some game I couldn't play once I got a better computer because they moved way too fast in 'turbo' mode :p

Oh my gosh, yes!

It's funny - at the time I never really understood the point of it.
Nowadays, I keep wishing my computer had a 'slow' button to kill back its power when I don't need it. ;)

This is far more amusing when you do it with 8 inch floppies. I still have working 5 1/4 inch drives that I could slap in anytime I need to.

Ahh the days when write protecting meant physically punching a chunk out of your disk.

I still use command prompts. I have a quicklaunch icon for it.
