my take on it is that the woman next to her is lecturing her regarding (take your pick), the superiority of Christianity over Islam/ The superiority of America over (again, take your pick)/ the "wrongness" of wearing a headscarf--submitting/etc, and the Muslim woman is looking at the camera going "I gotta listen to this??"
