Aw, poor little guy looks so scared.
He's cute and all, but just keep in mind that he's TEEMING WITH PARASITES.
Wow... I don't know why, but that statement makes me want to inspect you.

and people still try to defend foxhunting
Ohhhhh but he has a stummmp. <3
It looks cute now, but just remember it'll grow up into something that would happily kill and eat your pet cats.
I'm allergic to cats, and this little guy is cute as a button.
If you let your cats roam, that's what you risk. I'd rather that the foxes and coyotes survive than the pampered house cats that shouldn't be outdoors in the first place. We've had both indoor and outdoor (barn) cats, and the official policy was that indoor cats got vet visits, outdoor ones did not. (That is, indoor ones were pets, outdoor ones weren't.)
Funny story - I was walking my fence line one time, and our semi-feral barn cat followed me to see what I was doing. As I was walking back towards the house, around sunset, all of a sudden he was plastered right on my heels. I was puzzled by this show of "affection"... until I looked around and saw the pack of coyotes trailing him... :) Never lost a cat to coyotes, though - barn (outdoor) cats are smart enough to survive outside, but letting house cats out is just wrong.
seconded. foxes/coyotes have just as much right to live/eat as anything else.
my cats are strictly indoor cats because i care about them too much to risk losing them.
bizarre story, a wild cat came up and drooled on my and suddenly i wasn't allergic to cats anymore. now i love wild cats!
All in the circle of life.
That's what people get for moving into carnivore territory. Better watch your little dogs, too.
see what happens when you jump over the lazy dog?

Problem: Dog wasn't lazy, got up at the wrong time, fox took a nasty tumble...

Poor guy/girl. Traps are bad.
